“Water, The Aorta of Life”
(01.12.2022) Mirpur University of Science and Technology AJ&K, under Green Youth Movement (GYM) Club, has organized a one-day seminar entitled “Water, The Aorta of Life” in the Mechanical Hall of the University. Dr. Tehseen Ghous, Dean Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, Dr. Mohsin Zafar, Focal Person Kamyab Jawan Markaz MUST, Dr. Rizwan Ullah, Captain GYM Club MUST, Mr. Idrees Mehmood, Deputy Director Environment GoAJ&K and Mr. Ansar Ali Khan, Deputy Director Student’s Affairs participated in the seminar.
They highlighted the importance of careful usage of water which is great natural gift of God. The speakers were of the point of view that this natural source is depleting day by day due to our habits. The per person usage rate of water in our country is very high. They emphasized to take care of natural resources where human beings are living. The GYM is one of a kind program ensuring and enabling the Pakistani youth’s development and environment protection and conservation through providing social and civic engagements. GYM an initiative under PM’s youth program is investing in youth of Pakistan to achieve sustainable development and find solutions for environmental problems. In MUST this program is being successfully running from last year.
